Prepare yourselves, geocachers, for a devilishly difficult series of Challenge Caches designed to test your skills and perseverance!
This series, 'The Devil's Dozen', celebrates the 'The Tassie Event', held in Sorell, Tasmania on 7-8 March 2026.
To conquer 'The Devil's Dozen', you'll need to successfully meet the requirements of thirteen unique and demanding challenges. Will you earn the right to sign the logs and claim these sought-after finds? Get caching, check your stats, and prepare to face the devil!
Challenge #10: The Quarter Century Quest
This is a challenge cache, and the physical cache is at the posted coordinates.
Geocaching has evolved from a simple bucket in the woods to a global phenomenon. Have you been there for the whole journey?
To claim a find on this stage of the Devil's Dozen, you must prove your status as a Historical Specialist of the game. We are celebrating the cachers who have sought out and found a piece of history from a continuous quarter-century of geocaching’s existence.
The Challenge
To qualify for this challenge, you must have found at least one geocache that was placed/hidden in every year for 25 consecutive years.

The Full Timeline: You must have at least one find for every year in a continuous 25-year block (for example, every year from 2001 through to 2025).

A Living History: This challenge requires you to track down those "oldies" from the early 2000s that are still active today, as well as maintaining your finds through to the modern era.
To claim a find you must meet the requirements of the Challenge:

If you sign the logbook and meet the requirements, log a 'Found It' log.

If you sign the logbook and do NOT meet the requirements, log a 'Write Note' and change this to a 'Found It' once you quality for the challenge.
