Challenge #13: The Balanced voyager
This is a challenge cache, and the physical cache is at the posted coordinates.
Do you prefer a walk in the park, or a grueling mental and physical test? True mastery often lies exactly in the middle!
To claim a find on this final stage of the Devil's Dozen, you must prove that you are comfortable operating in the "Goldilocks Zone" of geocaching—where the puzzles are tricky and the terrain is tough, but perfectly balanced. We are celebrating the cachers who seek out the 3/3 challenge.
The Challenge
To qualify for this challenge, you must have found at least 30 geocaches that have a Difficulty rating of 3.0 and a Terrain rating of 3.0.
-
The Perfect Balance: A 3/3 rating represents a significant step up from the average find. It usually implies a challenging hide or puzzle combined with a trek or climb that requires a bit of effort.
-
Consistency in Quality: Finding 30 of these specific combinations proves you have the stamina and the smarts to tackle high-quality, mid-tier caches across the state or the world.
To claim a find you must meet the requirements of the Challenge:
-
If you sign the logbook and meet the requirements, log a 'Found It' log.
-
If you sign the logbook and do NOT meet the requirements, log a 'Write Note' and change this to a 'Found It' once you quality for the challenge.
The challenge checker below will verify if you qualify.
