Welcome to the Thomas St. Angelo Public Library.
The east side of the building is a Carnegie Library, built in 1905 with the help of a $10,000 grant from steel magnate Andrew Carnegie.
The building was expanded later, with a grand re-opening in 2009, thanks in large part to a $500,000 donation from the Thomas St. Angelo Family Trust. St. Angelo was an official of the Barron County Federal Land Bank, chairman of the Barron County Red Cross and later served two terms in the State Assembly.
The library was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.
