Geocache Description:

The Karen Fraser Woodland Trail is a gentle, paved woodland path perfect for walkers, bikers, and geocachers of all ages. Originally a railroad corridor, the route now stretches about 2.5 miles from the Olympia trailhead to its connection with the Chehalis Western Trail.

Along the way you’ll pass through lush native plantings (over 12,000 trees & shrubs), benches for rest, a picnic shelter with restroom, and sustainably-designed trailhead features like a living roof and rain garden.

Whether you’re here for a brisk run, a scenic bike ride, or a leisurely stroll, this trail is ADA accessible, wide (about 10 ft) and mostly flat with a gentle slope — ideal for all skill levels.
