St Andrew and St Peter Church stands proud on a hill with the tower visible from East and West as you approach the village of Blofield. It is the largest church between Great Yarmouth and Norwich.It was rebuilt between 1380 and 1444 and is a grade 1 listed building. The font is quite unique as it details the life of Christ from Nativity to Crucifixion, Resurrection and Ascension.There are huge belfry windows and the sound holes have honeycomb tracery. The north porch used to have an upper room which was used as the village school for many years.
