Every town has its characters… but ours has guard rails with attitude.
These Sentries aren’t just standing around - they’re on full‑time lookout duty, filing tiny paperwork, and occasionally gossiping about passing traffic.
They take their jobs very seriously, even if they’re only a few centimeters tall.
They have a Mission clearly outlined in their Mission Statement ! 
Stop by, say hello, sign their “official” logbook / Fieid Report, and let them get back to their extremely important guard‑rail business.

Welcome to another of many stops in the “Sentry on…” series  -  an urban line of caches standing watch along the roads and byways of our community.  Each “Sentry” is tucked discreetly within a guard rail, quietly keeping an eye on the passing traffic while waiting for geocachers to come calling.

These hides are designed to be quick, accessible finds for anyone travelling through the area.  Whether you’re building a streak, padding your numbers, or just enjoying a casual day of caching, this series offers a simple, consistent challenge: spot the hiding place, retrieve the container, sign the log, and send the Sentry back on duty.

They are so serious that they have a comprehensive Training Manual to ensure they complete their duties correctly.

So buckle up, keep your eyes sharp, and enjoy meeting the Sentries scattered across the map.

They may be small, but they take their posts seriously.

A few notes before you begin:

• Please use caution  -  traffic may be passing nearby.

• Replace the container exactly as found so the Sentry can continue its watch.

• Stealth may be required depending on the time of day and muggle activity.
