Welcome to the Harry Reid Union Pacific Railroad Trail, known locally as the Union Pacific Railroad Trail (UPRR Trail). This trail is a City of Henderson Park, and runs from Green Valley Park at the north end, to the River Mountain Trail at the south end, a distance of approximately 13.5 miles. For most of its length, the trail runs alongside a spur line of the Union Pacific Railroad, servicing several businesses in the City of Henderson. This trail is utilized for hiking and biking, and is separated from the rail line by a fence throughout its length.
The UPRR Trail connects with several City of Henderson Parks, either through connector trails, or by passing through the park itself. These parks are great locations to access the UPRR Trail, and can be found as follows:
