Operation Bug Hunt
Following Operation Bug Hunt on LV-426 (Acheron), the personal belongings of PFC William L. Hudson somehow never made it home. Instead, they’ve turned up much closer than expected, hidden in bushland near Davidson. Your mission is to locate the cache, sign the log, and return everything as found.
“Game over, man!”
This cache is presented as a “recovered field cache” tied to a fictional mission inspired by the film Aliens (1986), the first in a series created in tribute to actor Bill Paxton.
Inside the container (an ammo box) you’ll find a themed logbook and small props left by Hudson and Newt. Everything is optional to read and family-friendly. No knowledge of the film is required — simply sign the log and continue your adventure.
Please do not remove the logbook or themed materials. Trade fairly if you take something, and return the container exactly as found, ensuring it is properly resealed.
This cache is located in bushland in leafy Davidson. You can park on Sir Thomas Mitchell Drive and walk along the fire trail that starts just west of “Sidewalk with a view”. Please be aware of local wildlife, take appropriate care and respect the natural environment.
