How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

Lets us celebrate the relationship between the circumference of a circle to its diameter, - We are Celebrating Pi, the irrational number with no known re-occuring features. Even the ancients recognised this and to some the first known uses were of the number 3 to represent the relationship, therefore we will be meeting at the:-

Three Fyshes, Bridge Street, Turvey, MK43 8ER - From 14:45 to 15:45.

Fyshes have often been seen in "Pi"es then we have all plaice settings covered and I understand the by this date the menu will contain pies to eat. If you are from Cornwall i am not convinced the Stargazey Pi will be available other than the what can be seen on a cloudless night!

If you have never been to a Geocaching Event, come along and see what will find.

An Event Sign, that lets you know you are in the right place, the right tables within the establishment.

An Event Log which you can sign, if you want to leave your mark

An area into which travel bugs can be put for discovery or for onward travel by another cacher.

People to talk to about all sorts of things including Caches you are struggling with, which ever variety they are.

It would be great if everyone came along with a A4 Sheet of paper in portrait format with a single digit on it, the aim being to see how many of the start of the constant number we can get in right order, in a random way!
