Pro D Day Dog Park Destruction - CITO

The City of Port Coquitlam has asked us if we can help them out at the Shaughnessy Off-Leash Dog park helping to control their invasives (blackberry brambles, mostly) that are starting to take over the Poco poochies park... Of course we can jump in and help them and our Geopups out. Please be aware that this is an off-leash dog park = dogs WILL be here! We're tucking back into our opened area and going to see if we can connect the opening out to the trail... That means that the poochies will be walking back and forth past us as we take out the brambles. They are generally sweet and happy to be there, and will come and say hello. Hopefully dog bombs have been CITO'd already by their owners, but be wary where you step (maybe have a spare pair of shoes in the car for afterwards?). An official post event at the tables...
A Pro D day, daytime CITO so my teen can get another volunteer hour under his belt... Your teens are welcome too!
