JohnoMawbs 10th Geocaching Anniversary

My first official day of geocaching was on 25th January 2016. Prior to this, I had been out Geocaching with a couple of Geocachers, finding caches but never had an account. My first logged find was: Quinn's Ghost (GC1RC4M). Unfortunately this cache has since been archived. So for the past 10 years I've been having a blast adventuring around the south-east of Australia, meeting lots of amazing people and visiting many places that I never knew existed. While writing this discription, I currently have 6563 finds and I am assuming it will be more by the time this event comes around.

Event details are as follows:

Date: Monday 09 February 2026

Venue: Pelican Park at the given coordinates

Time: 9:30am to 10am for Morning Tea

How to Find Us: Just look for the Geocaching Logo sign displayed at the picnic tables in the park. I'll be there early to meet and greet other early arrivers. I'll also be wearing Geocaching clothes and/or hat.
