Oregon Coast Trail
North Tillamook Head Section
OCT NH10 Headlandscapes Final

This is a field puzzle cache. It is not at the posted coordinates.
Please solve the puzzle described below to find the cache coordinates.
This cache is part of a series of hiking caches along northern sections of the
Oregon Coast Trail. This is the first cache in the North Tillamook Head section.
The first ten caches along the trail are part of a field puzzle: Collect a
clue at each of the first nine Traditional caches, solve the EASY puzzle, and
find this final Mystery cache.
The listings for each of the first nine caches contain two photos. One
photo was taken at the cache site, and the other was not. Decide which
photo WAS taken at the site, make a note of the number above the image, and
continue to the next cache.
When you have found the ninth cache, use those numbers to build the coordinates
of this final puzzle cache, which is at:
N 45 AB.CDE W 123 FF.GHI
Optionally, you can verify your solution by

Start your hike at the posted coordinates for this cache.
I had good cellphone reception on the hike, but it might be a good idea to save
the cache listings on your phone for offline use. An Internet search
should help with this if you are unfamiliar with the process. Just make
sure you will be able to access the two puzzle photos in each of the first nine
caches on your hike!
Expect lots of mud on the hike. During the the winter and spring you will
likely encounter downed trees along the trail. Be prepared!
Due to heavy tree cover and narrow valleys, GPS reception is
very limited. Please use the hints which should greatly help in locating the
caches. It also helps to approach each cache at a slow pace, allowing your
receiver to "settle down" and establish a good location.
Dogs are welcome (and often plentiful) along all the trails. In
some areas along the trail there are extreme drop-offs, so be sure to keep dogs
and children under careful control.
Enjoy the beautiful hike and the field puzzle!
