First in a series of cache's celebrating the work of the Native Plant Society of Texas (NPSOT). Each cache will contain, a logbook naturally, a number of trinkets/swag, and a flyer or information on a plant native to Texas to raise awareness about the need for more native plants in our area, to offset/inhibit local flooding during storms, as native plants have deeper root systems than turf grass lawns, and therefore pull excess water into the ground reducing standing water.
This is also the first cache announcing a new 2026 limited edition Texas commemorative trackable geocoin. The cache contains a FTF sticker and an item that will earmark a coin for you personally to be exchanged for same when they arrive in a few weeks.
This cache is a regular size container, labeled as a geocache, contains a trackable travelbug, and includes laminated info on the game inside the container in addition to the log etc, please leave that in the cache and close it tightly and return as found.
