This cache is named after an excellent American war movie that came out in 2012. Red Tails is about the Tuskegee Airmen, a group of African-American United States Army Air Forces (USAAF) fighter pilots during World War II. The characters in the movie are fictional, although they are based on real people. I highly recommend this film. My father was a B-17 bomber pilot during the war, and the Tuskegee Airmen often flew along side his formations to protect them from German fighter plane attacks. They did an outstanding job on every mission, and I literally owe my life to them.
This will be a quick find for all geocachers. It might take a few moments to figure out how to retrieve the log, but you'll get it. Don't use any tools, and don't force it!
After signing the log, gently reinsert the log container into the hole in the bottom of the host, cap end first, until it stays in place.
Be stealthy and alert because GZ is adjacent to a parking lot with some drive by traffic. It is a very short walk into the trees, so it is possible that you might encounter poisonous plants, ticks, etc. during the warmer seasons. It is available 24/7, but I recommend searching during daylight hours only. I appreciate the help from XNuc with the placing of this cache!
