The big Joshua Tree is a unique stop in a known for its eclectic mix of vintage items, local art, and Joshua Tree-themed It's a popular photo spot, featuring a large "Big Josh" statue and vintage cars, and also serves as a venue for a photoshoots. The quaint village of Joshua Tree has more to offer than just its magnificent National Park. That’s quite the tall order, you say? Meet 20 ft tall Big Josh, formerly known as The Mecca Cowboy who stood since 1965. He now lives at a former Richfield Gas Station built in 1949. JT residents Glen Steigelman and Steve Halterman bought the rundown big josh and they bought the big guy back to life to celebrate in many holidays.
