"Oh hey-"
"Park's trashed."
"What?"
*Shaking rubbish bag open* "Park's trashed."
The Fernando Street Park in Bonner is in quite a state... it seems that a hardy bunch of local good Samaritans banding together for a bit to help clean it up could do wonders. Said Samaritans wouldn't go unrewarded for their efforts, of course: there are the senses of pride, accomplishment, and community to be built... and the complimentary snacks and cheeky FTFs provided by the CO wouldn't go amiss, either! What do you think, fair trade?
I'll supply the rubbish bags, hand sanitiser, and probably some gloves too, but please bring along anything you'd like to have with you when doing the hard yakka, like your own gloves, grabby sticks, etc. As the CITO is being held early in the evening, any straggling February heat should hopefully have died down but it might still be a good idea to bring a hat, sunscreen, and your drink bottle.
Note: broken glass has been sighted across GZ - this has been reported, but please wear suitable footwear that you can trust to protect your feet whilst doing the job. All rubbish collected will be taken and disposed of by me or otherwise suitably reported.
See you there to do some good then kick on with an event afterwards?
