At long last we have both finished our homework and are able to concentrate on our next adventures. Another mid summer camping trip.
How many of you realise what fun your time at school was? Unless you are currently a teacher haha.
How many of you miss the games time, the school trips, sports day and the food? Lets face it, many of you miss having spotted dick at lunch time ….
Lets see if we can recreate some of these times, arrange a mini sports day, fancy dress… whether you dress as a pupil, or sports teacher, the headmistress or the caretaker….or even not in fancy dress, join in the fun. We can have a ‘Fuddle’ table one evening with everyones take on school meals (but please no ‘boiled to death’ cabbage). A school disco. The usual quiz, to raise money for the Mega and Piratemania. The list is endless.
Of course we will be endeavouring to put out new caches that will be school themed as well, because lets face it , it is a geocaching event, after all, as well as a social occasion.
This camping event will be from Thursday 18th June 2026 through to Monday 22nd June 2026, a total of 4 nights (although longer stays can be arranged). The actual geocaching event is on the Saturday 20th June between 5 and 8 in the evening but we will be having things happening throughout the weekend in our marquee.

As a special deal to ourselves, and obviously the geocaching community, we have arranged that the cost of a camping pitch is set at £12.50 per night. That is just fifty quid for 4 nights, a lot of sites charge more than that for one night. The pitch is without EHU, but if anyone needs to charge a phone etc then there a few sockets available in the marquee for this. There are a limited number of EHU available, that are payable on a pre paid card, but we will give priority to people with medical needs and then on a first come first served basis afterwards. If you are in desperate need of a EHU then please mention it in your booking and we will try our best to accommodate.
All bookings will be taken through ourselves (not the camp site) via the geocaching message service, private message, facebook, messenger, whatsapp ...or a note on a paper aeroplane thrown across the classroom. Once we have a message from you, we will send you the bank details on how to pay the camping.
