Night School at Sydenstricker
Let's gather at the Sydenstricker Schoolhouse (8511 Hooes Rd, Springfield, VA 22153) on Thursday, February 12th from 7:00pm - 8:00pm for some geotalk and host-provided cookies/brownies/donuts. The event will be inside the schoolhouse, where you can check out the collection of vintage artifacts and historical displays. Ask the CO to show you where to ring the original school bell from the 1920s.
If you haven't already, this would also be a good time to complete the Adventure Lab on site, whose Bonus Cache is a few minutes drive away (and not available at night). Completing the longer Wherigo will not be possible at night, since you must visit the neighboring graveyard.

UPDATE: Because of the snow and ice that won't go away, you will need to park directly across the street in the Sydenstricker United Methodist Church parking lot (waypoint has been added). Carefully cross Hooes Road (it isn't that busy of a road, but some cars might travel fast) and enter by the mailbox. A path has been shoveled to the schoolhouse and the steps are perfectly clear. Sorry for the inconvenience.
