🇬🇧 Monument “Wine of Moldova”
Moldova is a wine-producing country, and even its shape on the map is often compared to a bunch of grapes.
Here, wine is not just a beverage but an important cultural symbol reflecting the country’s history, traditions, and way of life.
The “Wine of Moldova” monument was erected in Chișinău in 2025 on the occasion of the World Congress of the International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV), which was held for the first time in the Republic of Moldova in June 2024.
The monument is located on Ștefan cel Mare Boulevard, near the Central Court, and symbolizes the centuries-old traditions of Moldovan winemaking, as well as the significant role of wine in the country’s history, culture, and economy.
It was installed on the initiative and under the coordination of the National Office of Vine and Wine of the Republic of Moldova, with the support of governmental and industry partners.

Aici, vinul nu este doar o băutură, ci un simbol cultural important, care reflectă istoria, tradițiile și modul de viață al țării.
Monumentul „Vinul Moldovei” a fost inaugurat la Chișinău în anul 2025, cu ocazia Congresului Mondial al Organizației Internaționale a Viei și Vinului (OIV), desfășurat pentru prima dată în Republica Moldova în iunie 2024.
Monumentul este amplasat pe bulevardul Ștefan cel Mare, în apropierea Judecătoriei Centru, și simbolizează tradițiile multiseculare ale viticulturii moldovenești, precum și rolul important al vinului în istoria, cultura și economia țării.
Acesta a fost realizat la inițiativa și sub coordonarea Oficiului Național al Viei și Vinului al Republicii Moldova, cu sprijinul instituțiilor publice și al partenerilor din industrie.

Wein ist hier nicht nur ein Getränk, sondern ein wichtiges kulturelles Symbol, das die Geschichte, Traditionen und den Lebensstil des Landes widerspiegelt.
Das Denkmal „Wein Moldawiens“ wurde 2025 in Chișinău anlässlich des Weltkongresses der Internationalen Organisation für Rebe und Wein (OIV) errichtet, der im Juni 2024 erstmals in der Republik Moldau stattfand.
Das Denkmal befindet sich am Ștefan-cel-Mare-Boulevard, in der Nähe des Zentralgerichts, und symbolisiert die jahrhundertealten Traditionen des moldauischen Weinbaus sowie die bedeutende Rolle des Weins in der Geschichte, Kultur und Wirtschaft des Landes.
