What is "WOW" slang for?
In slang, "wow" (often "just wow") expresses strong surprise, amazement, admiration, or even disbelief, acting as an interjection for something impressive or shocking, but can also be a noun for a big hit, or a verb meaning to deeply impress someone. It's used to convey "mind-blown" reactions, sometimes with a touch of irony or to indicate something so outrageous, it defies easy explanation.
Common Slang Meanings:

Interjection (Most Common): 

A spontaneous exclamation of awe, excitement, or wonder.

  • Example: "Wow, that sunset is incredible!"
  • "Just Wow": 

Implies overwhelming astonishment or speechless shock, often used when something is unbelievably good, bad, or absurd.

  • Example: "He said he quit his job to become a professional juggler. Just wow."
  • Noun (Less Common):
