Worum geht es hier?

Willkommen bei diesem Virtuellen Geocache in Frankfurt am Main! Frankfurt ist nicht nur die Mainmetropole und das finanzielle Herz Deutschlands, sondern durch die Europäische Zentralbank (EZB) auch ein Knotenpunkt für die globale Finanzwelt.

Mit diesem Cache möchte ich den Blick auf das internationale Geldgeschehen und die Architektur rund um die EZB lenken. Egal ob Tourist oder eingefleischter Local – hier ist weltweites Fernweh garantiert!

📸 Die Logbedingungen

Um diesen Virtuellen Cache erfolgreich zu loggen, musst du eine (oder für das Bonussternchen auch beide) der folgenden zwei Aufgaben vor Ort lösen und ein Beweisfoto deinem Online-Log hinzufügen:

Option A: Das weltweite Euro-Symbol

Begebe dich zum bekannten Euro-Symbol an der Taunusanlage (dem großen €-Zeichen).

Die Aufgabe: Mach ein Foto von dir (oder einem persönlichen Gegenstand wie deinem Geocaching-Account-Namen auf einem Zettel) vor dem Symbol.
Der Clou: Halte einen Geldschein aus einem anderen Land (kein Euro!) gut sichtbar in die Kamera! Woher stammt deine Banknote? Erzähle uns gerne im Log davon!

Option B: Die EZB am Osthafen

Begeben dich zum Osthafen mit Blick auf die Zentrale der Europäischen Zentralbank.

Die Aufgabe: Mach ein Foto von dir vor der EZB, ebenfalls mit einem Geldschein aus einem anderen Land !
Der Clou: Auf dem Foto muss unbedingt der gelbe Eisenbahnwaggon mit im Bild sein!

von daher bei Option B : Ein Foto von dir (oder deinem Namen auf einem Zettel oä), dem gelben Eisenbahnwaggon und dem Geldschein

📝 Wichtige Regeln für den Online-Log

Foto hochladen: Lade dein gewähltes Beweisfoto direkt zusammen mit deinem Logeintrag hoch. Logs ohne Foto oder mit ungültigen Bildern müssen leider gelöscht werden. Gruppenlogs sind nicht gestattet. Jeder Cacher der diesen virtuellen loggen will hängt ein eigenes Foto an sein Log an.
Keine Gesichter Pflicht: Wenn du dich nicht selbst fotografieren möchtest, reicht es völlig aus, wenn deine Hand mit dem Geldschein oder ein Travel Bug / ein Zettel mit deinem Cachernamen zu sehen ist.

What is this about?

Welcome to this Virtual Geocache in Frankfurt am Main! Frankfurt is not only the financial heart of Germany, but through the European Central Bank (ECB), it is also a hub for the global financial world.

With this cache, we want to direct your focus to international currency and the architecture surrounding the ECB. Whether you are a tourist or a local – global wanderlust is guaranteed here!

📸 The Logging Requirements

To successfully log this Virtual Cache, you must complete one of the following two tasks on-site (Bonus star for Cacher posting photos on both places) and attach a proof photo to your online log:

Option A: The Global Euro Symbol

Head to the well-known Euro symbol at Taunusanlage (the large € sign).

The Task: Take a photo of yourself (or a personal item like your geocaching username on a slip of paper) in front of the symbol.
The Twist: Hold up a banknote from another country (no Euros!) clearly visible in the camera! Feel free to tell us where your banknote is from in your log!

Important : No group logs accepted. Each log must be unique including the photo

Option B: The ECB at the Osthafen

Head to the Osthafen with a view of the European Central Bank headquarters.

The Task: Take a photo of yourself in front of the ECB, in your hands as well a Banknote from a country not using EURO.
The Twist: The photo must include the yellow railway wagon as well!

so, Option B includes a photo of you or a sheet of paper with your name, the ECB building, the railway wagon and the banknote

📝 Important Rules for the Online Log

Upload Photo: Upload your chosen proof photo directly with your online log entry. Logs without a photo or with invalid pictures will unfortunately have to be deleted.
Faces Not Required: If you do not want to photograph yourself, it is completely fine if your hand holding the banknote or a Travel Bug / a note with your cacher name is shown instead.
