This is the gravesite of Hank and Audrey Williams. It is one of the most visited gravesites in Alabama, and every New Year's Day (the anniversary of his death) and September 17th (his birthday), fans gather to pay homage to Hank. You will notice the gravesite is covered in artificial turf, not grass. This is because fans and other visitors would pluck the grass and keep it as souvenirs, making it hard for real grass to grow. Hank (aka The Hillbilly Shakespeare) died in the back of his baby blue Cadillac while being driven to a New Years Day concert. His funeral was held at the Montgomery Auditorium in downtown Montgomery. The funeral was attended by 2750 mourners inside the auditorium and up to 25,000 others gathered outside. His Cadillac can be seen at the Hank Williams Museum, located in downtown Montgomery.
The gravesite consists of several markers with inscriptions of songs, boots, guitars and even notes from their children on the back of the taller markers. To get credit for this cache please message me the answers to the following questions. (Do Not Post them in your log or it will be deleted)
1. How many musical notes are on the gravesite (include those etched into markers)?
2. Hank had several nicknames; The Hillbilly Shakespeare was one and another can be found inscribed beneath the carving of his hat. What is this name?
3. Between the tall markers for Hank and Audrey there is a vase with the letter "W" carved on it. Directly behind this vase is the grave of Daddy Mark and Mother Jimmie. What is the last name of Mark and Jimmie?
4. Post or send a picture of yourself or a personal item at the gravesite. You do not have to include your face.

On the back of Audrey's tall marker are messages from their children. There is a grammatical error in the message from Hank Jr. Can you spot it? If you do, include it in the message you send me.
While you are at the gravesite, the grave of Hank's mother can be viewed to the right of the Hank and Audrey gravesite. Also a little further down to the left of the gravesite is where officers and men of the British and French Air Forces are buried. These men lost their lives in Montgomery during WW2 training to become pilots.
