Geocache Description:

The Moss Lady statue is a public artwork located in Beacon Hill Park, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. It was created by artist Dale Doebert. The sculpture, which seems to blend effortlessly with the surrounding nature, is a beautiful piece of artwork to stumble upon.

The Moss lady ws contructed in 2015 and is directly inspired by the English artwork, entitled Mud Maiden.

The peaceful expression on the sculptures face reflects the surroundings. A small stream gurgles nearby, making it seem like the The Moss Lady was lulled to sleep by a watery lullaby.

This is a Virtual cache In order to log this as a find you must complete the following tasks.

Send these two answers to CO via the "Message this owner" link at top of this page. ( Do not include the answes in your log, or they will be deleted)

1. If you are standing on the path, looking at The Moss Lady, you will see a short wooden fence,running along the path, in front of The Moss Lady. Locate the metal sign, on this fence, that gives some details, and let me know if the sign is on the left end, centre, or right end of the fence.

2. There is a log bench, on the other side of the path. How many "Legs", does this bench have?

Also, you need to post this following picture, with your log.

Take a picture of the stump chair, not bench, including ANY of the following;

  • Yourself
  • Your GPSr
  • Your car keys
  • A paper, or sign with your cacher name on it.

Feel free to add any other pictures of your visit, in your log, just don't show anything that might be a spoiler for the questions.
