65 Jahre Fußgängerzone
Vom Arthur-Lemisch-Platz über die Kramergasse bis zur Wiener Gasse fuhren bis zum Jahr 1961 noch tausende Autos. Was heute normal ist, war damals eine Sensation. Die Kramergasse, der Arthur-Lemisch-Platz, der Alte Platz und die Wiener Gasse wurden autofrei. Die erste Fußgängerzone Österreichs war geschaffen.
Heute flaniert man hier gemütlich durch restaurierte Arkadenhöfe und Passagen. Im Sommer gibt es Altstadtfeste und in der Adventzeit Punsch-Stände – die Klagenfurter Fußgängerzone ist ein Ort der Begegnung.
Um diesen Virtual Cache zu loggen, erfülle bitte folgende Aufgaben:
1. An den Headerkoordinaten findest du im Boden eine Messingtafel, die an ein vergangenes Jubiläum erinnert. Welche Länge hat die Fußgängerzone (A)?
2. An den Fassaden der Gebäude auf der rechten und der linken Seite findest du drei Tafeln mit insgesamt acht Jahreszahlen. Addiere die kleinste und die größte. Die Summe sei B.
3. Schlendere die Fußgängerzone weiter Richtung Süden. Überquere den Alten Platz und biege später nach links ab. Du stehst vor einem Brunnen mit einer bekannten Klagenfurter Sagengestalt. Wie nennt man diese kleine Gestalt? Die Antwort ist C.
4. Mach ein Foto von dir (oder einem persönlichen Gegenstand) vor dem Ensemble, sodaß Brunnen und Figur zu sehen sind und poste das Foto gemeinsam mit deinem Log.
5. Übermittle die Antworten A, B und C per Message Center an mich.

Until 1961, thousands of cars still drove from Arthur-Lemisch-Platz, along Kramergasse, to Wiener Gasse. What is commonplace today was a sensation back then. Kramergasse, Arthur-Lemisch-Platz, Alter Platz, and Wiener Gasse became car-free. Austria's first pedestrian zone was created.
Today, visitors can stroll leisurely through restored arcaded courtyards and passageways. In summer, there are old town festivals, and during Advent, punch stalls – Klagenfurt's pedestrian zone is a place to meet and connect.
To log this virtual cache, please complete the following tasks:
1. At the header coordinates, you will find a brass plaque in the ground commemorating a past anniversary. What is the length of the pedestrian zone (A)?
2. On the facades of the buildings on the right and left, you will find three plaques with a total of eight years. Add the smallest and the largest year together. Let the sum be B.
3. Continue strolling south along the pedestrian zone. Cross the Old Square and then turn left. You will be standing in front of a fountain with a well-known Klagenfurt legend. What is this little figure called? The answer is C.
4. Take a photo of yourself (or a personal item) in front of the fountain and figure, and post the photo along with your log.

Do leta 1961 so se od Arthur-Lemisch-Platza, vzdolž Kramergasse, do Wiener Gasse vozili tisoči avtomobilov. Kar je danes nekaj običajnega, je bilo takrat senzacija. Kramergasse, Arthur-Lemisch-Platz, Alter Platz in Wiener Gasse so postale ulice brez avtomobilov. Ustvarjena je bila prva peš cona v Avstriji.
Danes se lahko obiskovalci sproščeno sprehajajo po obnovljenih arkadnih dvoriščih in prehodih. Poleti potekajo festivali starega mestnega jedra, med adventom pa stojnice s punčem – peš cona v Celovcu je prostor za srečevanje in povezovanje.
Za beleženje tega virtualnega zaklada opravite naslednje naloge:
1. Na koordinatah glave boste našli medeninasto ploščo v tleh, ki obeležuje preteklo obletnico. Kolikšna je dolžina peš cone (A)?
2. Na pročeljih stavb na desni in levi strani boste našli tri plošče s skupno osmimi letnicami. Seštejte najmanjšo in največjo letnico. Naj bo vsota B.
3. Nadaljujte s sprehodom proti jugu po peš coni. Prečkajte Stari trg in nato zavijte levo. Stali boste pred vodnjakom z znano celovško legendo. Kako se imenuje ta majhna figura? Odgovor je C.
4. Fotografirajte se (ali osebni predmet) pred vodnjakom in figuro ter objavite fotografijo skupaj s svojim dnevnikom.
5. Pošljite mi odgovore A, B in C prek centra za sporočila.
Dnevniki brez fotografije ali brez oddanega odgovora bodo izbrisani brez komentarja.
Fino al 1961, migliaia di auto percorrevano ancora la strada da Arthur-Lemisch-Platz, lungo Kramergasse, fino a Wiener Gasse. Ciò che oggi è normale, all'epoca era una vera e propria rivoluzione. Kramergasse, Arthur-Lemisch-Platz, Alter Platz e Wiener Gasse divennero zone pedonali. Nacque così la prima zona pedonale dell'Austria.
Oggi, i visitatori possono passeggiare tranquillamente tra i cortili porticati e i passaggi restaurati. In estate si tengono feste tradizionali nel centro storico e durante l'Avvento bancarelle di punch: la zona pedonale di Klagenfurt è un luogo d'incontro e di socializzazione.
Per registrare questa cache virtuale, completate le seguenti attività:
1. Alle coordinate indicate, troverete una targa di ottone a terra che commemora un anniversario passato. Qual è la lunghezza della zona pedonale (A)?
2. Sulle facciate degli edifici a destra e a sinistra, troverete tre targhe con un totale di otto anni. Sommate l'anno più piccolo e quello più grande. Chiamate la somma B.
3. Continuate a passeggiare verso sud lungo la zona pedonale. Attraversate la Piazza Vecchia e poi girate a sinistra. Vi troverete di fronte a una fontana con una famosa leggenda di Klagenfurt. Come si chiama questa piccola figura? La risposta è C.
4. Scattate una foto di voi stessi (o di un oggetto personale) davanti alla fontana e alla figura e pubblicatela insieme al vostro log.
5. Inviatemi le risposte A, B e C tramite il Centro messaggi.
