This is my first and probably ony virtual. I had thought of a few places to place it and decided on here at the Craigavon water wheel. I am sure many people walk around the lakes and never spot this piece of engineering form a forgotten time. In all the years I have lived in this area I have only seen it work once, when you visit this place you might get lucky.
This wheel was brought from the south of the Province, refurbished and installed as a water feature in one of the drainage channels from the developed land of Craigavon. It has never had any engineering function with drainage. It was placed in the 70's when they where building the lakes.
