This virtual is more of a treasure hunt, so don’t expect a quick stop-and-go. You’ll need to spend some time exploring and gathering the information required to log it. The good news? You’re in a great place to wander. There are several geocaches and Adventure Labs nearby, so you can easily turn this into a full outing.
Ozzy and I walk here almost every day, and it’s easily his favorite spot. It’s peaceful, scenic, and full of character—and if it looks familiar, you might recognize it from TV shows and movies like Remember the Titans and Goosebumps. That’s what made it feel like the perfect place to hide a virtual.
The cemetery is an official Decatur public park and is open from dawn to dusk.
