Geocache Description:

The Cape San Blas Lighthouse, originally built to guide ships near Cape San Blas, Florida, was moved to Port St. Joe in 2014 to save it from erosion, and is now a historic landmark with a museum and gift shop where, for a fee, visitors can climb the tower for panoramic views. On October 10, 2018, Category 5 Hurricane Michael made landfall 10 miles west of Port St. Joe, devastating the area, but the lighthouse only lost a pane of glass. After the storm, the lighthouse became a symbol of hope to the entire area.
