Willkommen auf der Salzburg, einer der flächenmäßig größten und am besten erhaltenen Ganerbenburgen Deutschlands. Hoch über Bad Neustadt thront diese beeindruckende Anlage. Als Ganerbenburg diente sie gleichzeitig als Wohnsitz für mehrere Familienzweige, was die enorme Ausdehnung mit einer rund 450 Meter langen Ringmauer erklärt.
Wichtiger Hinweis zur Privatsphäre:
Die Salzburg ist kein Museum, sondern ein lebendiger Ort. Große Teile der Anlage (die sogenannten Ansitze) befinden sich in Privatbesitz und sind bewohnt. Bitte respektiert die Privatsphäre der Bewohner:
- Bleibt auf den öffentlichen Wegen und im zugänglichen Burghof.
- Fotografiert keine privaten Fenster, Eingänge oder Gärten.
- Verhaltet euch ruhig und rücksichtsvoll.

Welcome to Salzburg Castle, one of the largest and best-preserved "Ganerbenburgen" (joint-fief inheritance castles) in Germany. Towering over Bad Neustadt, this site served as a shared residence for multiple noble families, explaining its vast size and the 450-meter-long curtain wall.
Important Note on Privacy:
Salzburg Castle is not a museum; it is a living community. Large parts of the complex (the residential seats) are privately owned and inhabited. Please respect the residents' privacy:
- Stay on public paths and within the accessible courtyard.
- Do not take photos of private windows, entrances, or gardens.
- Please keep noise levels down and be considerate.
