Thunderbird Square & Civic Plaza is a beautiful place to visit. It has many relaxing gardens, memorials, and fountains to enjoy. Lots of park benches to enjoy the greenery, gorgeous flowers. Great place for a stroll and even a picnic. The library and city hall, and even a friendship garden are within walking distance. Spring time is a great time to visit.
There is a yearly Remembrance Day ceremony here every November 11th to honour veterans, fallen soldiers, and those who are currently serving. This is done at the cenotaph.
To log this virtual you will need to post a photo of yourself with your caching name (on a sheet of paper or name tag) near the cenotaph. If you prefer not to show your photo, you may use a unique object such as your GPS with the cenotaph.
