This posted coordinates will bring you to the site of a memorial that has a special significance to me. My Grandfather, Herbert Reiss and 2 other firefighters lost their lives in a fire at this location in what is known as the Woolworth Fire of 1934. The city of Aurora has commemorated the event with a plaque, and also built a beautiful park at the location. The Aurora Fire Museum is located a block to the north and is also an excellent place to visit. To log this cache, you will need to do the following:
1. Send me a brief description of the item located directly under the commemorative plaque.
2. There is a mural located within sight of the plaque, send me the name of the 5 famous people depicted.
