Kunst auf der MuK
Wenn man von der Altstadtinsel auf die Musik- und Kongresshalle blickt, erkennt man am ganz rechts einige bunte Figuren auf dem Dach des Gebäudes. Es sind 10 Figuren aus farbig glasierter Keramik. Sie sind Teil der Installation "Die Fremden" des Künstlers Thomas Schütte, die im Rahmen der Documenta IX 1992 in Kassel ausgestellt wurde.
1994 erwarb die Possehl-Stiftung diesen Teil der Installation und schenkte sie der Stadt Lübeck im Rahmen der "Kunst im öffentlichen Raum". Seitdem prägt sie den Blick auf die Musik- und Kongresshalle.
Der andere Teil des Gesamtwerks verblieb in Kassel.
Um den Virtual loggen zu können, gehe zu den Koordinaten und mache ein Foto von den Figuren. Dazu soll dein Cachername, das aktuelle Datum und ein Teil des Brückengeländers auf dem Bild zu sehen sein. Siehe Beispielfoto!

Art at the MuK
Looking at the Musik- und Kongresshalle from the old town island, you can see some colorful figures on the roof of the building on the far right. There are 10 figures made of colored glazed ceramic. They are part of the installation "The Strangers" by the artist Thomas Schütte, which was exhibited as part of Documenta IX in 1992 in Kassel.
In 1994 the Possehl Foundation acquired this part of the installation and gifted it to the city of Lübeck as part of "Art in Public Space." Since then, it has shaped the view of the Musik- und Kongresshalle.
The other part of the overall work remained in Kassel.
To log this virtual go to the coordinates and take a pic of the figures. Your nick name, the current date and a part of the bridge railing have to be in the pic also. See the example.
