La Place de la Concorde, de forme octogonale, est délimitée par huit statues représentant des grandes villes de France: Brest, Rouen, Bordeaux, Nantes, Lyon, Marseille, Lille et Strasbourg.

La Voie Triomphale est un axe historique de Paris qui relie le Louvre au quartier d’affaires de la Défense. Elle commence au carrousel du Louvre, passe par le jardin des Tuileries, la place de la Concorde et son obélisque, les Champs-Élysées, la place de l’Étoile et l'Arc de Triomphe, avant de descendre par la porte Maillot et atteindre le quartier de la Défense.
