Questa cache è legata a un evento triste accaduto nel settembre 2021 quando due ragazzini di età inferiore ai 14 anni hanno messo in fiamme tre dei bellissimi cipressi secolari che caratterizzano il "Parco della Rimembranza", ex cimitero di Monfalcone. L'evento è riportato: QUI
Per un po' di tempo dopo abbiamo potuto vedere solo i ceppi carbonizzati: la mia Google Street mi mostra ancora come apparivano. Ma poi è avvenuta una trasformazione meravigliosa: i resti degli alberi sono stati trasformati in sculture: rinati! Originalmente la cache era una multi perché nelle vicinanze ce n'è un'altra fisica, ma in realtà è ideale come una cache virtuale!
Guardando la scultura all'angolo della strada:
A = il numero di penne grigie della coda dell'uccello
B = il numero di maglie intere della catena sul lato destro dell'ancora
passando alle due ali della scultura successiva
C = il numero di pezzi separati che compongono la ala che si incontra prima
D = il numero di pezzi che compongono la ala più lontana dalla scultura con l'ancora
Per loggare la virtuale: inviami i numeri A, B, C e D tramite messaggio Geocaching e carica nel tuo log una foto, facoltativamente includendoti, di cipressi non bruciati - non mostrare le sculture.

This cache is related to a sad event that occurred in September 2021 when two kids less that 14 years old set fire to three of the beautiful old cypress trees that are a feature of the "Parco della Rimembranza" formerly the cemetary of Monfalcone. The event is reported here
For some time afterwards we could see just the charred stumps - my google street view still shows me how they looked. But then a wonderful transformation ocurred: the remains of the trees were transformed into sculptures: reborn! The cache was originally a multi because there is another physical cache nearby, but in fact it is ideally suited as a virtual!
Looking at the sculpture on the street corner:
A = the number of grey tail feathers of the bird
B = the number of whole chain links on the right hand side of the anchor
moving on to the two wings of the next sculpture
C = the number of separate pieces that make up the first wing that you meet coming from the anchor
D = the number of pieces that make up the second wing, the one furtherest from the anchor
To log the virtual: send me the numbers A, B, C and D in a Geocaching message and upload to your log a picture optionally including yourself of unburnt cypresses - don't show the sculptures.
