Myllykirjasto
Myllykirjasto on Tyrnävän kunnan keskustaajamassa Pohjois-Pohjanmaalla sijaitseva kirjasto. Se on avattu yleisölle 7. elokuuta 1994. Kirjasto toimii Osuusmeijerin rakennuttamassa saneeratuissa, vuosina 1919–1993 toimineen myllyn tiloissa, ja osana Tyrnävän meijerialuetta se on yksi Tyrnävän kulttuuripolun kohteista.
Myllyrakennus on valmistunut vuonna 1919 osana investointeja, joita Tyrnävän Osuusmeijeri toteutti huolimatta poliittisten olojen epävakaudesta ja ensimmäisestä maailmansodasta. Rakennus ei edusta mitään tiettyä rakennustyyliä. Pohjaratkaisuiltaan se on suorakaiteen muotoinen, ja sen pinta-ala on 619 neliömetriä. Rakennus on rapattu, väriltään vaalenpunainen ja sen yleisilmeen piirteitä ovat kuusijakoiset ikkunat.
Rakennuksessa on ollut kattilahuone, sadan hevosvoiman höyrykone ja sähkögeneraattori. Generaattori tuotti sähköä riittävästi myös kirkonkylän tarpeisiin. Kattilahuone sijaitsi rakennuksen eteläpäädyssä, konehuone rakennuksen keskiosassa, ja varsinainen myllyn työtila pohjoispäädyssä.

Mill library
The Myllykirjasto (Mill Library) is a library located in the central area of the municipality of Tyrnävä in Northern Ostrobothnia. It was opened to the public on August 7, 1994. The library operates in renovated premises originally built by the Tyrnävä Cooperative Dairy, in a mill building that was in use from 1919 to 1993. As part of the Tyrnävä dairy area, it is one of the sites along Tyrnävä’s cultural trail.
The mill building was completed in 1919 as part of investments carried out by the Tyrnävä Cooperative Dairy despite the unstable political situation and the First World War. The building does not represent any specific architectural style. Its floor plan is rectangular, and it has a floor area of 619 square meters. The building is plastered, light pink in color, and its general appearance is characterized by six-pane windows.
The building once contained a boiler room, a 100-horsepower steam engine, and an electricity generator. The generator produced enough electricity to also meet the needs of the church village. The boiler room was located at the southern end of the building, the engine room in the central section, and the actual mill workspace at the northern end.
Task
Go to the coordinates given in the description and take a photo of yourself (your face does not need to be visible), your name tag, or another object that belongs to you so that Myllykirjasto is visible in the background. In the photo, the year displayed on the library’s end wall must be visible, as well as the chimney located next to the library entrance (the chimney does not need to be visible in its full length).
