Þotuhreiður (“Jet Nest”), sometimes also written as Þotuhreiðrið, is a striking sculpture located in front of Keflavík International Airport in Iceland. The sculpture was created by Icelandic artist Magnús Tómasson. The artwork depicts a giant egg with a jet aircraft emerging from it like a newly hatched bird. The steel egg rests on a nest-like base made of rocks.

To log this cache, visit the sculpture at the given coordinates and take a photo. The photo must clearly show the sculpture Þotuhreiðrið, you or a personal item (for example a piece of paper with your geocaching username, a GPS device, or another recognizable personal object). Logs without a photo that meets these requirements may be deleted.
