In 1853, four sculptures, representing horsemen, were placed at the ends of the bridge.Measuring 155 meters in length, the structure features five 28-meter semicircular arches, four intermediate piers, and tympana decorated with imperial eagles.
It has been listed as a historical monument since June 12, 1975.
The bridge has been reserved for pedestrians and cyclists since the 2024 Olympic Games.
