Kruunuvuorensilta
Kruunuvuorensilta on yksi Helsingin Kruunusilloista, jotka yhdistävät Helsingin kantakaupungin Kruunuvuorenrantaan. Se on suunnilleen 1200 metriä pitkä vinoköysisilta - eli noin 150 metriä toiseksi pisintä, Mustasaaren Raippaluodon siltaa pidempi. Muut osat Kruunusilloista ovat Finkensilta ja Merihaansilta.
Kruunuvuori bridge is one of the Kruunu, or Crown bridges in Helsinki, which connect the downtown Helsinki to Kruunuvuorenranta. It is approximately 1200 metres long cable-stayed bridge - in other words, about 150 metres longer than the next longest bridge, Raippaluoto bridge in Mustasaari. Other bridges in the Kruunu bridges are Finken bridge and Merihaka bridge.
Maailmanlaajuisestikin poikkeukselliseksi Kruunuvuorensillan tekee se, että sillä ei ole sallittu moottoriajoneuvoliikennettä hälyytysajoneuvoja lukuunottamatta. Sillan avajaisia vietettiin 18.4.2026, jolloin se avattiin jalankulun ja pyöräilyn käyttöön. Helsingin seudun pyöräilijät ry:n järjestämässä avajaiskulkueessa oli mukana kokonaiset 1813 pyöräilijää. Raitioliikenne päässee sillalle loppuvuodesta 2026, jolloin Kruunuvuorenrannan ja Laajasalon asukkaille avautuu nopea kiskoyhteys keskustaan. Tähän asti ainoa yhteys alueelta keskustaan on vaatinut pitkän kiertämisen Herttoniemen kautta.
Sillalla kulkee yksi Helsingin pyöräbaanoista, Saaristobaana. Baanat ovat nopeaan ja turvalliseen pyöräilyyn suunniteltuja keskeisiä pyörätieyhteyksiä, joiden mitoitus ja laatu on tarkoitettu olemaan parempaa kuin mihin Helsingin perinteisillä pyöräteillä on totuttu.
Kruunuvuori bridge is rather unique bridge when compared to other bridges in the world. The reason for this is that the motorized vehicles are not permitted to drive across the bridge save for the emergency vehicles. The bridge was opened on 18.4.2026 for the pedestrians and biking. Helsinki Region Cyclists NGO organized a opening parade with whopping 1813 cyclists taking part in the parade. The tram traffic will likely start by the end of 2026. This marks the time when people living in Kruunuvuorenranta and Laajasalo will get fast rail connection to the downtown. Until this the only connection from the area to downtown has required a long detour through Herttoniemi.

The task is simple: Find your way to the coordinates and take a scenic photo towards the sea so that there's something you own in the picture. If you have arrived to the location on a bicycle, take a photo of your bike as shown below. Attach the picture to your log entry.
When you're taking the picture, please do not stand on the bike lane, instead stay on the pedestrian area.
