David Adam Williams was a pioneering American vlogger who passed away at the age of 51 on December 22, 2025. He was widely celebrated as a "founding father" of travel vlogs, specializing in theme parks, filming locations, and abandoned attractions. Adam was the best friend we never met.
"There goes the monorail"
This was Adam's signature catchphrase, he said it to express his love for the monorail. Following his passing in late 2025, fans have adopted the phrase as a tribute, often sharing photos of the monorail, honoring his appreciation for small, magical moments. Fans and followers frequently use the line "Thereeee goooesss theee monoooorailllll" to honor his memory. The Monorail represented a moment to slow down and appreciate the journey.
Important information
If staying on site at a WDW resort then access to this GZ is as easy as boarding free transportation, such as buses, boats or monorails. GZ is also available via a short stroll on a sidewalk from the MK.
Parking at the resort is only allowed if you have dinner or hotel reservations.
If staying off site, Disney has removed the free bus ride option from Disney Springs shopping area.
Logging information
Post a photo of yourself (or an item representing you) with your log at GZ with the monorail in the background. The monorail will pass GZ every 4-6 minutes. If the monorail is not running that day, then a pic at GZ will suffice.
ALTERNATIVE LOGGING:
Post a pic of you or personal item at any MONORAIL, with monorail in the frame, spot throughout the area
