Harry Houdini was a famous magician/illusionist and stunt performer who amazed audiences with his escaping tricks that defied death. For example escaping Coffins, straitjackets and even jail cells handcuffed with no way out yet he always escaped magically! Erik Weisz known as Harry Houdini professionally was born on March 24, 1874 in Budapest, Austria-Hungary. And later moved to Appleton, Wisconsin with his family to escape antisemitic discrimination as him and his family were Jewish. Houdini’s family lived on Appleton Street and where their house was is now known as Houdini Plaza.

- Visit the posted coordinates and take a picture in front of the Houdini Plaza waterfall to prove that you were there. Please do not message the photos in your answers please attach them to your log and please do not include the plaque or quote in your picture. For privacy reasons showing your face in the picture is not required if you choose to remain anonymous show a personal item in the photo and make sure both the waterfall and item are visible in the photo.
2. Please walk to the back side of the waterfall and message me Harry Houdini’s quote. It’s a good quote I really like it!
3. Lastly visit WP1 and you will see a plaque. Please tell me who was in one of Harry’s earliest pictures and who was the person who most likely took it.
