Komora je název rybníka poblíž Sídliště nad Lužnicí, které se začalo budova v 70. letech a je dnes největším sídlištěm v Táboře, bydlí zde zhruba deset tisíc obyvatel. Ještě koncem 80. let nebylo sídliště nijak zvlášť dobudované, což nám jako dětem přinášelo různorodé možnosti k hrám a trávení volného času, například právě v okolí Komory, kterou jsme tak nějak měli radši, než "Čápák" na druhé straně státovky.
V Komoře se údajně dalo i koupat, ale to by chtělo ještě větší pamětníky. Za nás to už byl bahňák, ale dalo se na něm výtečně jezdit na voru! V mrazivých zimách byla Komora přirozeně notně využívaná jako ledová plocha. Kousek za Komorou, směrem k řece Lužnici, je podél cesty malý lesík, i ten byl hojně využívaný ke hrám. Za lesíkem už skoro u řeky pak byla kaplička, už tenkrát to byly de-facto jen zbytky obvodového zdiva, ale i tam se dalo strávit mraky času. Na louce ještě blíž k řece byly docela dlouho vyskládané veliké betonové skruže, po kterých se dalo skvěle běhat a i se v nich schovávat. Zhruba v místech těch skruží, tzn. pod tou tehdejší kapličkou, se dneska nachází odpočinková zóna pro místňáky i přespolní.
JAK NA KEŠ.
Své vozidlo zaparkujte na vybraném doporučeném parkovišti. Ať zvolíte č. 1 nebo č. 2, měli byste se dostat k rybníku Komora, jako počátečnímu bodu. Dále se ubírejte se vydejte hliněnou cestou dolů přímo směrem k řece, není to nijak daleko. Kdo touží po full retro zážitku, může to vzít lesíkem. Zhruba po tři sta metrech od Komory, v místech bývalé kapličky se hliněná cesta změní v asfaltový povrch, přicházíte k oválu, za kterým je na břehu Lužnice písečná pláž, na které byla před lety umístněna dřevená pirátská loď, která byla v roce 2025 nahrazena plastovou. Právě ta je cílem této virtuální keše.
JAK LOGOVAT.
Pro uznání logu vyfoťte sebe, NEBO s předmětem jednoznačně prokazující vaši kačerskou totožnost, tak jak je znázorněno na vzorové fotografii = tzn. s předkem lodi (hlava dravého opeřence) A vedle kompasu. Je možno stát klidně mezi, ale zkrátka OBĚ tyto dvě věci musí být na fotografii zachyceny. Logy nesplňující toto kritérium nebudou uznány. Jediná možná výjimka platí pro nefalšofvané vozíčkáře, kterým je možné uznat fotografii pořízenou z nedalekého chodníčku a nemusí tedy do písku.

Komora is the name of a pond near the housing estate Sidliste nad Luznici, which began construction in the 1970s and is today the largest housing estate in Tabor, with around ten thousand inhabitants. The housing estate was not particularly completed until the end of the 1980s, which brought us as children various opportunities to play and spend our free time, for example in the area around Komora, which we somehow preferred to "Capak", another pond on the other side of the state highway. It was supposedly possible to swim in Komora, but that would require even older contemporary witnesses. In our time it was already a mudflat, but it was great to ride a wooden float (raft) on it! In the freezing winters, Komora was naturally used extensively as an ice rink. A little beyond Komora, towards the Luznice River, there is a small grove along the road, which was also widely used for games. Behind this small forest, almost by the river, there was a chapel, at that time it was de-facto just the remains of the perimeter wall, but you could spend a lot of time playing there. In the meadow even closer to the river, there were large reinforced concrete rings laid out for quite a long time, which were great for running around and hiding in. Roughly in the places of those rings, i.e. below that chapel, there is now a rest area for locals and visitors.
HOW TO GET TO THE CACHE
Park your vehicle in on of the selected recommended parking lots. Whether you choose No. 1 or No. 2, you should reach the Komora pond as your starting point. Then, take the dirt road down directly towards the river, it's not far. Those who want a full retro experience can take it through the grove. About three hundred meters from the pond, at the site of the former chapel, the dirt road turns into an asphalt surface, you come to an oval, behind which there is a sandy beach on the bank of the Luznice River, on which a wooden pirate ship was placed years ago, which was replaced by a plastic one in 2025. This is the goal of this virtual cache.
HOW TO LOG
In order to successfully log, take a picture of yourself OR an object that clearly proves your geocaching identity, as shown in the sample photo = i.e. with the front of the ship (the head of a bird of prey) AND next to the compass. It is possible to stand between, but in short, BOTH of these two things must be captured in the photo. Logs that do not meet this criterion will not be accepted, and therefore deleted. The only possible exception applies to genuine wheelchair users, who can be recognized by a photo taken from a nearby sidewalk with no necessity to go to the sand.
