Geocache Description:

**Congrats to substickers on the FTF**

Emerson's Mill & Patten's Mill sites in Candia, New Hampshire, are historic, scenic, and quiet industrial ruins located in the East Candia area, offering a glimpse into the town's early 19th-century industrial past. Today, the site is a public, natural area frequented by hikers and nature enthusiasts, featuring stone foundations, a stone dam, and serene pond views.

Situated near the hamlet of East Candia, adjacent to Patten Hill, with access often connected to the nearby Rockingham Recreational Rail Trail.

Visitors can see the remains of the old mills, including significant stone foundations and a stone dam that once supported water-powered operations.

The sites are located around a pond (often referred to as Emerson Pond/Marsh), offering scenic, wooded, and aquatic surroundings.
