Keine Angst, natürlich verfügt die gesamte Ausstellung über die nötigen Fluchtwege und Notausgänge.
GPS Maze ist eine interaktive Wanderausstellung von Geocaching. Seine Geschichte reicht bis ins Jahr 2007 zurück, als die erste GPS Maze-Ausstellung in den USA stattfand. Dieses Projekt wurde ursprünglich entwickelt, um Menschen jeden Alters die Arbeit mit Navigation, GPS-Technologie und Geocaching näherzubringen. GPS Maze Adventures wurde von Groundspeak geschaffen, und der erste Veranstalter war Minotaur Maze Exhibits. Ursprüngliches Listing: GC13A70.
Dieser MAZE bietet euch einen spannenden Einblick in die Welt des Geocaching – von den Anfängen bis heute. Besuchende erfahren, wie Geocaching funktioniert, welche Rolle die GPS-Technologie spielt sowie welche Spezialitäten Geocaching in der Schweiz zu bieten hat. Man kann Geocacheutensilien, Geocoins und andere Exponate bestaunen, sich an den Stationen der LAB-Caches vor Ort versuchen und viel bekanntes und Neues entdecken.
Nach eurem Besuch solltet ihr unter anderem die Antworten auf folgende Fragen beantworten können: Welche Arten von Caches gibt es? Welche Massnahmen sollten beim Verstecken eines Caches getroffen werden? Welcher ist der älteste aktive Geocache in der Schweiz? Was sind Trackables? Was ist eine GeoTour?
Alle erforderlichen Materialien werden vom OK bereitgestellt. Bei Fragen oder Unklarheiten stehen euch das OK sowie unsere Helfenden jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Sie begleiten euch während der gesamten Reise durch das Labyrinth und sorgen dafür, dass ihr euren Besuch rundum geniessen könnt.
Es handelt sich hierbei um eine Premiere: Dies ist der erste MAZE (GPS Maze Exhibit) in der Schweiz!

Der GPS Maze richtet sich sowohl an erfahrene Geocacher als auch interessierte Besucher. Auf anschauliche und abwechslungsreiche Weise werden die Grundregeln des Spiels vermittelt, technische Zusammenhänge erklärt und mehr oder weniger bekannte Aspekte des Geocaching beleuchtet.
Die Inhalte auf den Ausstellungstafeln sind aus Platzgründen nur in deutscher Sprache aufgeführt. Deshalb stehen Übersetzungen in Englisch und Französisch zur Verfügung.
Die Ausstellung wurde vom OK des MEGA Grüezi-sCHwiiz (GCNordwestschweiz) in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Geocaching HQ entwickelt. Konzept, Gestaltung, Aufbau und sämtliche Exponate entstanden zu Hause in hunderten von Arbeitsstunden. Nebst grossflächig bedruckten Infotafeln entstanden so auch ein für euch hoffentlich unvergessliches Erlebnis am MAZE. Wir bitten euch, den Exponaten Sorge zu tragen.

Wir laden Euch herzlich ein, unsere besondere Ausstellung GPS Maze in der Halle des RV-Aarau, Schwimmbadstrasse 14, 5000 Aarau, zu besuchen.

Die Ausstellung ist am Freitagabend und Samstag geöffnet. Aufgrund der grossen Nachfrage kann es beim Zugang zum GPS Maze zu Wartezeiten kommen und daher etwas Geduld gefragt sein. Erfahrungsgemäss ist der Besucherandrang zu den Randzeiten geringer. Der gesamte Besuch der Ausstellung dauert etwa eine Stunde.
Der Eintritt ist kostenlos, barrierefrei und offen für alle, die sich auf das Abenteuer einlassen möchten. Der Besuch der Ausstellung setzt keinen Besuch des benachbarten Megaevents voraus.
Wichtig: Hunde sind in der MAZE-Ausstellung nicht erlaubt, auf dem umliegenden Gelände jedoch schon.

This MAZE offers you an exciting insight into the world of geocaching – from its beginnings to the present day. Visitors learn how geocaching works, what role GPS technology plays, and what special features geocaching has to offer in Switzerland. You can marvel at geocaching equipment, geocoins, and other exhibits, try your hand at the LAB cache stations on site, and discover many familiar and new things.
After your visit, you should be able to answer the following questions, among others: What types of caches are there? What precautions should be taken when hiding a cache? Which is the oldest active geocache in Switzerland? What are trackables? What is a GeoTour?
All necessary materials will be provided by the organizing committee. If you have any questions or uncertainties, the organizing committee and our helpers will be happy to assist you at any time. They will accompany you throughout your journey through the maze and ensure that you can enjoy your visit to the fullest.

The GPS Maze is aimed at both experienced geocachers and interested visitors. The basic rules of the game are taught in a clear and varied way, technical aspects are explained, and more or less well-known aspects of geocaching are highlighted.
Due to space constraints, the content on the exhibition panels is only available in German. Translations into English and French are therefore available.
The exhibition was developed by the organizing committee of MEGA Grüezi-sCHwiiz (GCNordwestschweiz) in collaboration with Geocaching HQ. The concept, design, construction, and all exhibits were created at home in hundreds of hours of work. In addition to large-scale printed information boards, we have also created what we hope will be an unforgettable experience for you at MAZE. We ask you to please take care of the exhibits.

We cordially invite you to visit our special exhibition GPS Maze in the hall of RV-Aarau, Schwimmbadstrasse 14, 5000 Aarau.

- Saturday, September 5, 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
The exhibition is open on Friday evening and Saturday. Due to high demand, there may be waiting times to access the GPS Maze, so please be patient. Experience has shown that visitor numbers are lower during off-peak hours. The entire visit to the exhibition takes about one hour.
Admission is free, barrier-free, and open to anyone who wants to embark on this adventure. Visiting the exhibition does not require a visit to the neighboring mega-event.
Important: Dogs are not allowed in the MAZE exhibition, but they are allowed on the surrounding grounds.

Si vous avez des questions ou des doutes, le comité d'organisation et nos assistants se tiennent à votre disposition pour vous aider et vous conseiller. Ils vous accompagnent tout au long de votre parcours dans le labyrinthe et veillent à ce que vous profitiez pleinement de votre visite.

L'exposition a été développée par le comité d'organisation du MEGA Grüezi-sCHwiiz (GCNordwestschweiz) en collaboration avec le siège social de Geocaching. Le concept, la conception, la construction et toutes les pièces exposées ont été réalisés à domicile au cours de centaines d'heures de travail. L'exposition est ouverte le vendredi soir et le samedi. En raison de la forte affluence, il peut y avoir des temps d'attente pour accéder au GPS Maze. Nous vous remercions donc de votre patience. D'après notre expérience, l'affluence est moindre aux heures creuses. La visite complète de l'exposition dure environ une heure.
L'entrée est gratuite, accessible à tous et ouverte à tous ceux qui souhaitent se lancer dans l'aventure. La visite de l'exposition ne nécessite pas de visiter le méga-événement voisin.
Important : les chiens ne sont pas admis dans l'exposition MAZE, mais ils sont autorisés dans les environs.
