Welcome to the 2026 Winter Olympics Series!
This series celebrates winter sports around the world, and the showcase of winter atheletes at the Winter Olympic Games. In 2026, the games are being held in Milano Cortina in Italy. There are a total of eight sports and fifteeen disciplines in this years games. There are an estimated 2,900 atheletes from 91 National Olympic Committees competing in 2026.
After you have found all the caches in the series and have collected the needed information, you are elligable to find the bonus cache, 2026 Winter Olympics: Closing Ceremony (GCBJ4DJ). The needed information can be found on/in the container, or on the logbook.
Curling
Curling has been a part of the Olympic Games in varying ways since 1924, though it was not added to the official program until 1998, and the results were not considered oiffical by the International Olympic Committee until 2006. The objective of the game is to slide stones across a sheet of ice in an attempt to get them closer to the center of the target (house) than the opponent's stones. The game is played with curling stones and brooms that smooth and clear the ice to make the stone go faster.
