Venture with us to the fifteenth event in an ongoing series that brings together Geocachers old and new, from across the community in a beautiful greenspace at the heart of York.
Inspired by caching, the friendships we make are grounded in our shared experience of the great outdoors.
Reflecting the calm character of the setting, this next gathering of the year will be a gentle celebration of the location and the people who make this place what it is.
York Cemetery - Waking The Dead - XV
Saturday 21st March 2026
1000 - 1030
Take the opportunity to meet and greet fellow cachers, learn a little about the spot where you are gathering, and enjoy relaxed conversation in a welcoming atmosphere.
Unstructured time before and after the main meet-up allows for plenty of geo-chat, story sharing, and those friendly exchanges that blur the line between virtual connection and real-world friendship.
All you need to do is mark your attendance and arrive on the day at the posted coordinates at the allotted time to be part of the occasion.
Logbook and a trackable drop-off point will be provided, not to mention a bun or two, so simply come along, enjoy the company, and share in the experience together.
In case you hadn't guessed, Yes, this is a launch event for a new virtual FTF for all.
