All are welcome to join Team BM (badstagram and MikeXB70) in our local hostelry, The Moon and Stars, for a meet up and a chat. We are hoping to make this a regular thing.
The Moon and Stars is built on the site of the old Odeon cinema. When it was opened it was themed on the Wizard of Oz. As you walked in and looked up, there was a life size Dorothy suspended from the ceiling accompanied by a troupe of flying monkeys, unfortunately these disappeared in a refurbishment in the late 1990's. On the walls there is lots of information and displays on local famous residents and local history. They are well worth reading.
In the summer and good weather we hope to be in the garden, if the weather isn't suitable for that we will be indoors
