Nursery Rhymes - THE FINALE CARW2026
What better way to celebrate the 20th anniversary of CARW in the Edmonton area than with a toe-tapping, tune-humming geocaching adventure? This geotrail brings a playful music theme, inviting you to follow a harmonious trail of nine caches inspired by classic nursery rhyme songs. Set along a peaceful country road in southeast Edmonton, this series highlights the soundtrack of childhood favourites. Each cache in the series tips its hat to a well-loved nursery rhyme, with playful containers that capture the spirit of the song, and will hopefully make you smile as you make each find. As you visit each cache, be sure to note the secret number hidden within — you’ll need all nine numbers to unlock the coordinates of this final treasure waiting at the end of your musical journey.
ALSO - Choose your favourite numbered treble clef (1–50) for a chance to win a prize at the two final tracks — Side A and Side B! If you are brave enough to try Nursery Rhyme karaoke and can throw away your inhibitions for just about 16 bars, you can skip the game of chance and go straight to winning a prize. You must have a treble clef from this cache to participate.
Cache is NOT at the posted coordinates.
Final - N 53° 2A.BCD′ W 113° 1W.XYZ′
Tune up your GPSr and get ready to follow a geotrail that hopefully hits all the right notes. Here’s to 20 years of geocaching in the Edmonton area!
SPECIAL THANKS TO GEAA FOR THE AMMO CAN THAT GeoGuider RECEIVED FOR WORKING THE HIGHWAY CLEANUP IN MAY 2025.
Nursery Rhyme Karaoke at Flip Side A
Congratulations to 954Con who, with trebel clef #8, had the nerve to jump up and do a rousing rendition of Twinkle Twinkle winning the Fireball and to i*C*e and Ka'anapali Spirit who, with treble clefs #4 and #27, led the entire crowd in a round of Row Row Row Your Boat winning the chocolate. These cachers with treble clefs jumped line for the prize draw and automatically won so there were no prizes left on Sunday for a draw. Such fun! What will happen next week?
