Felixstowe station was opened in 1898. It is the passenger terminus of the Felixstowe branch line from Ipswich, although the line also serves freight trains to and from the Port of Felixstowe.
Only one platform remains, however the grand grade II listed buildings remain and now house the Great Eastern Square shopping centre.
