Welcome to the 2026 Winter Olympics Series!

This series celebrates winter sports around the world, and the showcase of winter atheletes at the Winter Olympic Games. In 2026, the games are being held in Milano Cortina in Italy. There are a total of eight sports and fifteen disciplines in this years games. There are an estimated 2,900 atheletes from 91 National Olympic Committees competing in 2026.
After you have found all the caches in the series and have collected the needed information, you are elligable to find the bonus cache, 2026 Winter Olympics: Closing Ceremony (GCBJ4DJ). The needed information can be found on/in the container, or on the logbook.
Cross Country Skiing
Cross Country Skiing has been a part of the Winter Olympics since the first games in 1924. Women's events were added in 1952. There are several different types of races and distances. There are 12 events in the 2026 games (six each for Men and Women). In Distance, there is Men & Women's Freestyle interval start, Men & Women's Skiathlon, Men & Women's Classical mass start, and Men & Women's Relay. In Sprint, there is Men & Women's Individual (classic), and Men & Women's Team (freestyle).
