Victorian Cache of the Year Awards 2025

The Victorian Cache of the Year Awards are back again for the 2025 placement year. Nominations for the awards will open soon and this event is a chance for us to gather to announce and celebrate the nominees.

Geocaching Victoria welcomes all cachers and muggle families to join us for a celebration and free sausage sizzle as we announce the 2025 Victorian Cache of the Year Award Nominees.

Held at Jells Park, a new location for the Cache of the Year Awards, this will be a chance to catch up with old geocaching friends, and to make new ones, as we celebrate the talents of the cache owners amongst us.

Event Details

Where: Jells Park, Jells Road, Wheelers Hill.

When: Saturday, 28 March 2026, 10:30am - 1:00pm

• Free sausage sizzle provided following the nominees announcement. (Will attend required)
• Will Attends: For catering purposes, please include the number of attendees in your will attend eg @2@
• Feel free to bring a picnic chair or rug should you wish.
• Bring a water bottle, and prepare for all weather possibilities, it is Melbourne!

Geocaching Victoria

Geocaching Victoria is a not-for-profit incorporated body that seeks to promote the pastime of geocaching with a predominant focus on the state of Victoria. It is governed by committees of enthusiastic geocachers who volunteer their time and energy for the advancement of geocaching in Victoria. Collectively we aim to inspire great geocaching experiences, promote knowledge sharing and development, foster and grow the geocaching community, and help to showcase the best Victorian geocaching experiences to geocachers both from within and outside of the state.

We host small and large scale events and CITOs around Victoria as well as supporting others who also hold events around the state. We are constantly looking for opportunities to develop new and exciting ideas that can aid and enhance the geocaching experience of anyone within the state of Victoria.
