Geocache Description:

Welcome to a Pi-shaped (the number, not the pastry) GeoArt brought to life by the wonderfully friendly and incredibly supportive Geocachers of the Inland Northwest. What began as a simple idea quickly grew, and through the dedication and teamwork of everyone involved, it became a reality.

While the design honors the mathematical constant celebrated by number enthusiasts around the globe, the rest of the world often marks the occasion with circular treats fresh from the oven. So whether you’re raising a toast to 3.141592653589793238462 or enjoying a slice of something sweet, this GeoArt is for you!

In Naples by the North 47 shimmering sea,
Bakers dreamed up a tasty decree of 19.
Flatbread warm from a wood-fired flame at 515,
Tomatoes and cheese forever changed the game.

When Raffaele W117 Esposito took his chance,
He gave simple dough a royal romance.
For Queen Margherita the-52, colors bright—
Red, white, and green in every bite.

From 952 humble streets to worldwide fame,
Pizza rose to claim its name.
A slice of history, hot and sweet,
Born in Italy, loved on every street. 🍕
